Blossom is one our best producing mares. She gives a gorgeous foal every year with no problems, then gets back in foal with no problems. She is a wonderful broodmare!!!

Blossom has developed a condition that makes her foal allergic to her colostrum. The foal breakes out with little blisters. This can be avoided by giving the foal an alternate colostrum or just treat the foal with something for an allergic reaction, such as Benadryl. The blisters go away in a few days and there is no long term effects.
